theosd Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Cos they haven't a clue what they're doing. Easy question. Next? Quote
DirkThrust Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Cos he's a f****n idiot? Perhaps he got the idea from the nobs who break up vintage basses and sell the parts. Quote
warwickhunt Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Unfortunately for him, in this case the parts aren't worth more than the whole! A 1U space in the top of the cab (combo)... t*t! Quote
Mike Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Just to annoy you, I would have thought! Quote
ped Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 I can only assume he thought selling the combo with a missing speaker wouldn't work so thought he would carve it up - or - he removed parts to clean it up etc and couldn't/couldn't be bothered/didn't know how to fix it back up! Quote
Old Horse Murphy Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 The worse thing is, people actually bid on gear like this!! Quote
ped Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 I might buy a speaker, go and collect it and kick him in the nuts. Quote

MoJoKe Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 This guy had the whole amp for sale a couple of months ago, saying it was in full working order but needing work to tidy up. I had a watch on it, but then spotted my MB so obvoiusly it didn't sell then. Even then he was suggesting the speakers would need to be removed for shipping!! Quote
