gillento
I have been playing my new Sadowsky NYC PJ5 for 9 days and did one gig. It is my 3rd Sad and the two previous Sads (MV5 & M5-24 (sold)) were by far the best instruments I owned (and I owned a lot) but this one is really the bomb! My band mates commented about the same at the gig. It's a rev. PJ5 with alder body and brazilian rosewood fingerboard. [attachment=32704:NYCPJ5.jpg] That is why my Sandberg PM5 has to go in order to pay for this new beauty. gillento
Actually this is the first "non-ash" bodied bass I like. So far every alder bass hasn't been my cup of tea (even the great Trace Elliot T basses).
NancyJohnson
I'm in New York at the moment - I played a few Sadowsky basses a few days ago in Sam Ash/Manny's and have to say I was kind of knocked out at the quality and sound. I've previously passed these off as expensive Jazz/Precision clones, but they by far exceed anything I've played in a long while. I feel some GAS coming on... Sweet.
