steve
i must say I'm quite intrigued. According to TB, there's someone not a million miles away from me who might be able to add something interesting to this thread </mysterious>
sshorepunk
seems to be a lot of speculation about what is or isn't in this unit! Be intrested to have more info T

tayste_2000
I think I'll be getting one from Tone Factor this week, I love the M13 but finding a case for it is annoying, M9 will fit on a PT Mini with an X2 wireless and another pedal say a VT or SFT for a bit of amp sim. Still need to find an international touring power supply for it.
nash
will the supply for it not step down automatically?
tayste_2000
No Also I don't like the fixed power cord for it, to easy to ruin it mid tour and no where to buy something else.

sshorepunk
My worry on this is UK prices, you may have read my comment on talk Bass regarding the shop the Line 6 rep' recommended, but they are still charging £399 for an M13 if you buy online, maybe it's cheaper in the shop, but it's still close on £100 more than you can get an M13 for if you shop around!!! woodyratm
Ohhh this looks interesting. Might be something worth getting.
nash
i'm not worrying about the price too much. the M13 is 350 new. i'd imagine in reality the M9 will be 250 when its actually out.
sshorepunk
M13's are now down around £315, maybe less if you shop around, but I have seen one listing for the M9 at £379, all seems a bit odd price wise! T
nash
well if you have your amp in a rack you might aswell get an M13, rack it and get a midi controller.
sshorepunk
Pedal train mini with one exp' pedal and my srtrobostomp should do the job, hope it will fit Tidy! T
tayste_2000
Unless your getting a treadle less expression pedal then PT Mini won't fit what you want, it will easily do M9 and then 2-3 more pedals.
nash
racked m13 and this on the floor

nash
i know but the rocktron looks cooler and you can pull up different sequences on the same scene with a controller.
sshorepunk
I'm waiting for the M9 to downsize my rig! Adding a controller to a rack mounted M13 would defeat the object for me, plus I'd never ever need that many switching options for that many scenes in either the regular set my band playes or the covers set we occasionally do From what I've seen of the M13 (guitarist in my band uses one) as it is, it works fine! nash
i was only really messing around since that rocktron costs about 700 quid. i will no doubt get the m9. i think it would be cool if they did an M9B

Get a stock M9( (or M13) and have the room to add a few choice effects, maybe bass specific. I think there is an octaver in there aimed at bass, but from what Tayste has said, most work well with bass anyway Tony
