deej
Tonefactor looks to be the cheapest, assuming you dont get hit with custom charges. Cheapest in UK ive seen is on ebay, £340 posted, 'buy it now' from some music shop with them in stock.
Finbar
Pretty univerally £329.99. Except dv247 who have it for £326.71. Dunno if any of those are postage free. Tonefactor works out about £280 with their $20 shipping I think? But you'll wait longer to get it. They're usually pretty good with customs, but you never know. It would be about a 10 day wait but I snagged the last one so they need to restock. I think the £100 quid saving is worth it.

Pretty much all the effects suit bass really well if i hadnt needed new glasses and a new clutch i would have walked out with it. now its time for fight the gas lol
edstraker123
I bought an M9 last Monday and I absolutely love it. See all my pedals for sale in the marketplace effects forum (that's how good it is ) !
Finbar
I need mine in less than 10 working days is the only problem with buying from Tonefactor
Musicman20
This pedal looks great. More so for my guitar playing...and will basically give me everything I want in one box! My main Q is, is it exactly the same as the DL4 as in has all the DL4s effects and does exactly as the DL4 does? Cheers

tayste_2000
I posted these over on TB someone asked me to do these goatkeeper settings only thing I adjust in this clip is the speed, I don't use trem often so just playing it by ear and guessing something that shows it off. http://www.grygrx.net/bass/tayste/Goatkeeper.mp3 As for the others people, All clips recorded with my Valenti J4 tuned DGCF into M13 into Radial ProDI into M-Audio Firewire 410 into Audacity, nothing other than M13 here. Fuzz and Wah Ok so this goes Clean - Wah - Fuzz - Fuzz Wah, these are my preferred settings that I use live. http://www.grygrx.net/bass/tayste/Fuzz%20&%20Wah.mp3 Synth 1 These are a mix of 4 fx used in different conversations first is Octave Down Fuzz, then Octave Down Fuzz and Voice Box (I use this as my Subdecay Noisebox clone), then Octave Down Fuzz and one of the Tron filters (My 442 clone), then Facial Fuzz and same Tron filter, then Facial Fuzz and Voice Box. So to me this gives you an idea of traditional fx combinations. http://www.grygrx.net/bass/tayste/Synths%201.mp3 Synth 2 These are particular synth ones, I can't remember them all but will happily upload a sysex file of it, but near the end I turn on a few combinations of the fx used previously and to me it's just stunning and that's the real plus to this unit, is if you require 3 synths to get your synth sound you can http://www.grygrx.net/bass/tayste/Synths%202.mp3 Let me know what you think Cheers

deej
Im still not convinced by any of the dirt sounds so far tbh. But thats no big issue as id have space on my board for those pedals along with the M9. I reckon if i go ahead and get this, id use the channels mainly for modulation and filters to give me options. To the people that do own an M9, what 6 effects have you chosen for your main 'scene'? And also what is everybody else considering using? Im thinking; octave, whammy, wah, envelope filter, delay, phaser. But then im thinking what if i want a tremolo, or a bit of chorus? hmm. But i dont use them much, so i guess i could make a different scene for those.
Finbar
Be interested to know what you use for your 'cream pie' patch? My plan for the 6 effects is currently... Whammy, Octave, Synth, Delay, Reverb, Boost. And to keep separate drive pedals. But I may just filter everything off into two different scenes lumped into two groups of effects I commonly use together if I like the drive sounds. I can't wait to have a play though! sshorepunk
A little bit of tweaking brought the dirt / distortions into play, the standard settings were a bit weak! T
Finbar
The only samples I've heard are also direct recordings from the M9. Distortions almost always sound a bit uninspiring straight into a computer, and the M9 isn't supposed to be used like that, unlike the Pod. So I'll wait to hear how they are through a good amp before making a judgment call
burno70
I should be able to test drive my mates M9 tonight. In a way I want to be disappointed so I don't have to deal with the dilemma of whether I should sell up my pedals but I don't think I'm going to be. nash
i'll buy the M9 off you then
sshorepunk
I'm not getting as much time as I would like with rehersals and stuff, to trey this out, but had a jam with the filters last night, Tron up works well, needs a volume pedal on it though T
Finbar
I ordered mine and paid through the internet, and it should arrive today. I've had a message saying it has been dispatched and everything. Only... when I check my balance in my bank account, the money hasn't gone out for it? I'm sure it done the other day :S

Finbar
I work for Royal Mail, where next day is actually next day (or supposed to be, before anyone pipes up ), Saturday or not. It doesn't cost more to deliver on a Saturday does it. Fuel isn't more epensive on a Saturday is it.
