doctor_of_the_bass
Aha! My suspicions were correct in that it was you who purchased said bass of King-age! Nice one! Quite unusual in that it has the 34 inch scale neck with the narrow string spacing - normally it would have been a 32 inch scale with bendwell! phsycoandy
One of the main reasons i got it, i love the narrow spacing and the longer scale, I'm hung like a baboon u know! OutToPlayJazz
How are you finding it, Andy? I know we talked long ago about trading between my then KingBass and your Spitfire. Does the reality have the measure of the dream? Rich.
phsycoandy
Well the Spitfire has prooved itself over a good many gigs. Ive yet to gig the KB and wont get a full blown praccy till next thursday, i like the looks and the feel, not sure how it sits on the strap, guess its what u get used to, it is a slap monster tho and so easy tp trip off them riffs with the light gauge set on, i will see if its a one trick pony, i guess i will move one or the other on in the end..........
