New stand recomendations wanted.

I'm after a new stand for my bass, I'd really like one that grabs the neck, the only trouble is it's a 6 string, so it has quite a wide neck.

I've tried Hercules in the past but they aren't wide enough.

Cost isn't really important (within reason), it just needs to be good and reliable.

Hercules did do an extra wide one for 12 string acoustic guitars, have a hunt around.

Yes, I would like a budget (no more than £30) stand that is solid and will hold a musicman 'ray 5.

Any suggestions would be great!!

I found this bargain a while ago and it's still there. I've seen these stands go for more than £30:

It might not be exactly what you're looking for, but I love mine and completely trust it to hold my lovely Status (then again I only have 4 strings, so not sure how it would cope with a 6 stringer).
