bassmansky
I bought a vintage p-bass off eubassix,(cheers dave)and gigged it for the first time last night and the quality of sound i got from this bass was amazing.nice and punchy with a lovely growl as well.this has got to be the best money ive ever spent!in the past i have tried fender highway one p-bass and mim p-basses and my vintage is certainly as good if not better than the fenders.so why pay out hundreds of pounds just for a "name" on the headstock when these cheapies are just as good! EdwardMarlowe
Those Vintages are really good for the money - alas, no maple boards, so no dice with me.
Mr. Foxen
Fender's are likely to appreciate in value eventually. Also, a lot of people can't see past the name on the headstock, even if you can, they will still judge you as a player by it.
fender73
I have one of bass like things, except it's smaller, has 6 thin strings and rhymes with blatoblaster made by Vintage - best £150 i ever spent! More power to them!
bassmachine2112
hiho,I ,ve got one as well and put a wizard thumper in it ,a set of schaller tuners and a copy badass bridge and it the mutts nuts. All done second hand on fleabag for the grand outlay of under a hundred quid.Quality . The only gripe I have is I would prefer a maple neck, can,t say fairer than that.
