Just recently got one of these secondhand for a very reasonable amount.......but, when i played it the 'A' string keeps losing signal, if you touch/press the bridge saddle it comes back. Any ideas on the problem???

Could it be a loose connection problem with Piezo pick up?

I had a similar problem on my Spectorcore. That turned out to be the string not sitting properly into the saddle, the guage was too large. Maybe try using a slightly lighter guage of string. You could also try putting a shim of aluminium foil under it. I found that caused a little buzz though. Changing the strings sorted it for me.
