Anyone been there?

We're probably doing it in November. Croydon's a bit off my manor.

I only know Croydon from Saturday Gigs by Mott the Hoople.

Fantastic venue, you go through the pub into a large room at the back with a stage, it's great fun there.

I'm moving to Croydon in a couple of weeks, not heard of this place so must check it out!

Geez - didn't know about the backroom. Never used to do gigs in my day.

Black Sheep is the main gigging venue in Croydon so worth popping your nose in if you fancy more gigs in the area.

The Brief is one of the nicer pubs in Croydon, but as ever don't forget your stab jacket

The brief put on some good stuff, it's a pretty decent venue and one of the less terrible pubs in Croydon (IMHO there are no good pubs in Croydon anymore ).

Scream Studios have just started putting gigs on, bit out of the way (down by southe Croydon tucked down an alley, but no stab vest required honest) but worth a look.
Also check out the Green Dragon and the Ship.

It is indeed. Mr Hunter is very bitter that it wasn't a hit. Maybe the Croydon reference killed it?

Hope they play it at Hammersmith Odeon next Friday.

Keep talking myself in to going then out again (tickets available on ebay ) as I would love to get to one of the gigs ( brilliant trip down memory lane ) but lots of juggling required with regard to work etc to do it.......decisions decisions......

Probably looking to add another band. I'd rather we did a storming 45 minutes than a double set.
