Dread Bass Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 So do you play in a band or are you a solo player? What Conklin/s do you play? Where can we hear your music? Quote

Dread Bass Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Its cool Just gave it a quick listen but i particularly enjoyed Ancient words. I will need to pick up your album and give it a proper blast. Good work, nice playing and congratulations. Quote
LeftyJ Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Cool! But whenever I see or hear the word
Sanctorum
I can't help but think of this Quote
wateroftyne Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Congratulations... *pssst* 'Endorsee' Quote
TRadford Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 I saw some of your set at Bloodstock in August. Great stuff and congrats on the endorsement! Quote
Guest johnzgerman Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 nice one, ive had a conklin GT5 for 10 years or so and its great. Quote
EdwardHimself Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Nice, liked what i was hearing on the myspace. Conklin make beautiful basses. I'd love to own one someday, let alone be an endorsee! Pretty cool.
Cool! But whenever I see or hear the word I can't help but think of this
sounds like another w***er. Far too many of them in the upper echelons of society and government imo. Quote
Xzantes Posted September 24, 2009 Author Posted September 24, 2009 lol thanks for the spelling and lol Lefty i'v loved conklin for years and to get the endorsement is just amazing! Quote
Guest Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Did it just get you a discount against that bass or something? Quote
Xzantes Posted September 24, 2009 Author Posted September 24, 2009 lol no this is a funny story, i got this bass from trading with another BC person, then after playing bloodstock i got in contact with Bill Conklin and was asking the requirements of what i need to possibly get an endorsement and sent him links to the bands page and sent a press pack and he liked what he heard, so when i order my custom next year i'll be getting a "pro player discount" as they call it i think Quote

Guest Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 To tell the truth, it's been many many years since it's left the house, or really been played at all, but it was my first good bass and I'll never sell it. Quote
