BUMP!!!!!
Reckon I'll go 4 the EPI Jack Cassady. coz it's close to $800 AUS cheaper & sounded & felt great-as did the JAG. But as I have a 'ray 5 & a Precision- a nice semi hollow would be GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

I really liked the jaguar bass, plays nicely, good range of tones.

But for me there was a major flaw in the positioning of some of the controls, I kept dialing in tones I liked, but would then knock the switches etc. I imagine you'd get used to it tough.

I didn't find them to be in the way. I see yr point tho! & yep- GREAT range of tones. For the stuff I'm doing- havin active/passive, series/parralel on hand is A GREAT thing. But I reckon I'm gonna grab the Epi Jack Cassady bass- I know- totally different thing, but a semi-hollow, vintage sound will be GREAT also & is cheaper :-) felt great, souded great too!
