Musicman20 Posted September 26, 2009 Author Posted September 26, 2009 IMO...the black is awesome....good idea. I did have a PM with Mr Genz on Tbass...and he mentioned this amp. TBH..its so small and powerful. I nearly went for a Max12.0....but there seems little point now. Ill wait and save. Quote
Uncle Balsamic Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 I wonder how much it'll be over here. Quote
The Funk Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 Any idea of the dimensions? Will it fit in a gig bag front pouch? Quote
Musicman20 Posted September 26, 2009 Author Posted September 26, 2009 Same size as Shuttle 6.0 apparently...so fits into the Gig Skinz bag I have already have. Quote
EBS_freak Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 (edited) Feck. That's made things very interesting...! Edited September 27, 2009 by EBS_freak Quote
TheButler Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 It seems they must've perfected some sort of Quantum means of getting the power in there... I bet its actually empty inside. Quote
mike257 Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 All plans for a spare 6.0 are now off. I wonder if it's much heavier? That's bloody ridiculous. Quote
51m0n Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 I'm not even remotely surprised, its just like the way MB amps have gone - waaaay more power in the same space. The shuttles have to keep up, I expect there will be a TC upgrade in about 8 months time then..... I also like the black though - nice! Quote

alexclaber Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Unfortunately the black finish will make it much easier to lose down the back of the sofa... Alex Quote
thisnameistaken Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 I thought Shuttles could do 2 ohm loads? Did I get confused with something else? Quote

Luckily i was using a short speakon lead and it fell forward so was left suspnded in front of the speaker! No dmage done, thankfully. Now where did i put that velcro...? Quote

The next thing the cable connecting your bass to the amp with go tight and the amp will come flying off the top of the cab! Quote

I remedied it by putting the lead through the side handle of my cab. Having said that, If i walked away the barefaced is so light it would come with me. Who needs wireless?! heh. Quote

TheButler Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 How do they work? Is it a new technology they use for the transformer or something? I didn't know air had very good amplifying properties. Quote
