AndyTravis
My Violin Bass is for sale. Its seen a good bit of action, but it's not scruffy, looks pretty 'vintage'. The HardWare is a little Tarnished, the Tone Pot could do with being replaced - It works, but it just spins around before catching again. There is also a split in the lacquer around the headstock - resulting from a ding by the previous owner. I have removed the commemorative 'cavern' Pickguard, and it will ship wit, so you can decide what to do with it. It also has a vintage style Hofner Case - It's pretty Flimsy, and the catches are a bit crap. It is strung with recent Fender Short Sclae 250's. It will ship in a well packaged Box. £10 Shipping. I'm sorry to see it go, but it was an impulse buy, and it has been useful for recordings, but it's rarely used. As you'll see i'm moving a lot of gear on. I just want it all to be used and enjoyed, not sat in a studio. PM me with offers close to, or above £700. AndyTravis
Right, there are plenty of watchers. Start making offers via PM, if it's too low, I'll let you know. You may well be in with a chance... If i'm asking too much, just say, and i'll see what i can do.
AndyTravis
bump, offers of £650? Musicground still have the same bass on ebay for over £2000!
AndyTravis
bump. I am not selling this bass for less than £600, you could always buy the Chinese made Contemporary series 500/1 for four ton. This bass may not be A1 condition, but it's worth £600 deffo. AndyTravis
hi... I wouldn't know where to start with that. That's a long long way, and the case is a bit too 'authentic vintage' to protect the bass all that way. I'm looking into it as we speak. creature
Thanks Andy, If you provide me with the length, width and weight of the case with the bass in it, I could also look at options from this end. I have a courier company I use with my company and they do international rates. Also, could you email me a picture of the pick guard and case please? Ta very much! Tim.
