funkyhobbit
Excellent! Fankx FH. I have been thinking about grabbing a Q3HD - though it's not too high on the priority list at the moment - it's great to see it in action!
Hi Dood, I can not speak highly enough of the Zoom. I Recorded a couple of tunes at the Buskers that I go along too. It was nearly pitch black on the stage area and the volume was quite loud. Although this does not seem apparent on the vid. No bass gymnastics going on,, just a couple of simple tunes . wombatboter
Our band performing on tv this week with our Stones "cover"-band... Pedulla fretless straight into the DI and rather small monitors but we pulled it through... Intonation could be better from time to time but I like taking a risk every now and then, safe is a bit boring..

Bassassin
First go at a practice room video: Audio's not at all bad considering it's just the camcorder's (Canon Legria FS306) built-in mic and our PA's complete rubbish! Bass is an '82 Washburn SB-40 Vulture II through a GK700RB mkII 1x15 combo & Hartke 2.5XL. Really enjoying playing the Washboard at the moment & the rig's a killer - exactly what I was after. Jon. wombatboter
This clip is a proof that someone is actually buying stuff here on BC.. Recorded this clip this morning with stuff all bought last month here on BC.. an F-Bass, an Accugroove speaker and a Epifani UL902 (thanks Pierre Ganseman, Niceguyhomer and BigJim !) Gareth Hughes
Here's one from 2008, though the DVD was just released last week. Playing my much missed, but sadly feedback inducing, carved bass I bought from Ken Smith. I can't blame it for my dodgy intonation tho Artist is Kieran Goss, with special guest Brendan Murphy Edited April 9, 2011 by Gareth Hughes
wombatboter
Lovely song... like a breath of fresh air. Really enjoyed that.. Wish I could be more in bands where the public comes to listen rather than being "amused".
Gareth Hughes
Thanks. It is a lovely thing indeed to have an appreciative audience - tho it makes it all the harder to play the gigs where you're little more than a glorified jukebox. My biggest joy working with Kieran is playing beside a guitarist with a great sense of rhythm - that's a rarity!!
WalMan
New song in the set last night straight of the camera, but actually the sound isn't a complete mush. A bit dingy on the lights, but they reckoned it was the light boxes that took out the power last time (not quite sure why they waited 'til the very end of the night mind ) Guitarist put them to FB & not sure if I can embed so here should be links Unconditional Love by Street Legal Are You Ready To Rock - Thin Lizzy Well you knew the second was Lizzy, but you might not have known Street Legal in the first vid. BottomE
The GoodFoot Band at the Soul Cellar in Southampton. We did a great gig there with a Brighton based band called Mean Pappa Lean who were most excellent. Right at the beggining there is a great comeback by a member of the audience about his job. This song started about 10bpm to fast - drummer realised and slowed it...not for long. And i screwed up the bar where i have a little bit to twiddle on 2:37 boo hoo

Bassassin
Another practice room camcorder job: One of our oldest & heaviest songs, nothing fancy bass-wise, but a tune and a half, in my unreliable opinion. Jon.
