Would definitely be better with a backing track. Found it quite boring on its own.

Nice sound though.

I thought so.. I have a drum machine, but don't have a soundcard (yet) to put it all together and record..

Thanks for your thoughts, mate :)
I helped out a band last week since they didn't have a bassplayer, I used my fretless Lefay 5, plugged in the DI (you won't understand a word he's singing, I think :-))

The couple in the white shirt and green top always give me a giggle watching this, gawd knows what Craig Revel-Whorewood would make of that footwork ...

you've a lot of your english knee slapping in amongst your scottish tunes there!

Hey guys,

I've been trying to put a few video's online after a few requests from those of you whom were kind enough to come and say hi to me on the Bass Institutes stand @ Bass Day in Hove earlier this month.

It's only a start, and I need to buy a few things to make the recording better quality for sure, either way, here's a few Mpeg's, I hope you enjoy.

Very best,
Phil

Another one, aaaand, again, jazzy one..

A littl' walk over jazz blues changes, in swing and bossa styles.

Enjoy :)

P.S. How da hell, do you, guys, make those Youtube videos appear 'on the screen' here on the page, for example, Budget_bassist's clip, if you know, what I'm saying..?

Some seriously good players in this thread. Good work.
My old band from some years ago. For whatever reason it was filmed in B+W by a friend and I happenend to be stood under the only light on stage, not intentional I promise.

Great vids so far guys - Slddx your Zappa vid is down - which is a shame as I wanted to check it out.

Good work people - keep it up

One of the bands I play with at the moment.
Filmed at some songwriting competition in Fermanagh(NI) a few weeks ago.
Played through the provided knackered Marshall 2x10 combo

Nothing mindblowing,by any means!!!

OK so by pure chance my mate got a new mac book last week and posted up some video of old gig footage.

http://www.hangonvoltaire.com/

If you scroll down to the Club Flicknife Resents... bit and you can see all the glorious footage of a gig I waffled on about here on another post. Its not a blistering display of bass skills of a treatise on tone but that was one of my most fun nights out ever. Plus that old P bass was great

Public Health Warning - the 'singer was a frontman not a singer so the vocals should be considered in this context :) My personal fav bit is the all female stage invasion!

I hope you enjoy
