This is me and my two best mates who I only get to see once a year since I moved to Cardiff from North Wales.
We have an annual jam where we hire out the local village hall and play all day.
We called ourselves The Motherload when we were kids (there's another band called this now I believe)
We just jammed a couple of bits then recorded them live into a 16 track, with me given the 'nod' duties. A great lesson learned on this day - when improvising instrumentally, don't worry about counting how many times to this bit or that bit (everyone always counts things a bit different anyway ;)) Give someone the 'nod' duties and follow their cues. Everyone can just focus on playing the music then instead of counting!
Anyways this is us following our noses, making it up as we go.
I hope you enjoy, we did! :)

Managed to record our gig earlier today with my little Panasonic DMC-GX1 Micro Four Thirds with the audio coming through the desk, so I've had a quick fiddle and here's the first track:

Kiss - Watching You

Obviously not at the standard that some of you lot are, but that else are we gonna do on a Sunday afternoon...

I enjoyed that, nice sound and tight!
I'm a sucker for the harmonising Les Paul/Marshall combination... loved it!

He rhymed 'Rio Grande' with 'Sure is handy'. That's beyond awesome.

Love the steel on this.

Two new things from me - first up an actual 'pop video' for last month's Basschat Composition Competition - it's now a new project between myself and Skol with invited guests - under the name of Dojo - hope you like it:

Second one is me and my band at the HIdeaway in Streatham two weeks ago - they have an awesome 8-camera in house system - sound is off the desk but pretty good all the same:

Thanks! As the saying goes, you're only as good as the musicians you play with :)

Last week's video just varying the bassline to Danny Brown's tune Party All The Time. Solidly working on hiphop lines lately.

Not the sort of tune I was expecting with that title! Nicely played though, lots of feel (and bassface - I love it!)

Cheers man! The rest of the album (XXX) is much, much heavier and I think he was going for some sort of 'artistic irony' when he made the only downbeat tune and named it 'Party All The Time' haha. Thanks for the feedback!

The Roots - Love Of My Life bass rework by me!

Another hiphop one off the Things Fall Apart this time with a Source Audio Tri Mod Flanger and a complete remake of the beat from scratch again by myself and some additional mixing by my housemate Shamoniks.

New video this week playing with the line from Dpat - Touch off the Blurry EP.

Overwater at it again but through the Moog MF101 Low Pass filter to get that hefty sub thing going on. Feedback always appreciated!
