For me it, was more experimenting with sound, while recording a video. dave_bass5 Posted January 24, 2011 Share Posted January 24, 2011 (edited) First gig of the year at a social club :-( A mate who lives fairly local came and filmed some clips. No idea why he bothered but i thought i'd post the footage so you can all see how bored i look when i play these places. I think the sound was pretty good considering. We just have the vocals and kick drum going through the PA. The bass could do with being a bit louder but the bar staff had a sound meter behind the bar so we didnt want to push it. I worked with and met a lot pf Phillipino musos when i was working as a pro musician in the Middle East - Dubai, Abu Dhabi. I was always knocked out by the technical ability of your countrymen. If you were able to get a USB interface that goes into a computer your recordings would instantly sound a thousand times better. Over here you can get one for about £100.
