Fello
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and have a few basses to sell. This one is a fretless 5-string version of the Fender Squier P Bass Special. It is in excellent condition with no noticable dings or scratches. 34" scale length. The Nut Width is a little over 2 inches (2.008 inches). It has a solid agathis body with a polyurethane green finish,12 inch Radius maple C-shape neck, and rosewood lined fretless fingerboard.Knurled chrome dome control knobs (2 volume, 1 master tone), dot inlays, multi-ply pickguard, and standard, 4 over 1, chrome Precision bass open-gear tuners. Standard 5-Saddle bridge and 2 single-coil J bass pickups that deliver responsiveness and tonal versatility. It was defretted by a qualified luthier in London. It's really a great bass for the money in both looks and sound. Sound varies greatly from trebly slap style to low down growl. It has an exceptional bass end response. The neck is 2" wide, wider than all other 5 strings on the market in this price range, which gives you a string spacing that is natural and comfortable, not tight and crowded. It also contributes to the strong sustain and deep growling sound. The bass is currently strung with a Rotosound Trubass Black Nylon Flatwound (65-135) 5 string set that gives the bass a jazzy upright sound. This string set is worth around 40£ and the strings will last a very long time. I would string it with regular metallic bass strings if preffered by the buyer. Price: 175£ ono Please PM with offers. Sorry no trades Collection preferred but would deliver if not too far. The bass is in SE London. Would ship it if buyer pays for Shipping/Packaging costs. Paypal accepted Cheers Edited September 29, 2009 by Fello
