Russell
Hi All, I've been hanging around this forum for quite some time ( I spend far too much time in the basses for sale area....) and just wanted to make my prescence a little more official. I've been playing bass for about 12 years now and have been in several bands here and in Australia where I lived previously for 18 years. I love the instrument and all sorts of music from jazz to death metal and have played most on bass or on drums (my former instrument). I've done a fair bit of musical training and nearly completed my jazz degree on drums but had to find a way to earn some money in amongst all the fun...... Currently I own a Yamaha BB604 / Tune TWB6 and shortly I will be getting myself a Sandberg JM5 - then I will get rid of the 604 even though I love it and we've been through some hard times together..... Now I live in London, do a fair bit of recording in my home studio and work for TC Electronic as their European MI sales manager which means I get to use the amps we have made. Even without being a part of the company I would have to say they are fantastic. I am still looking for the right band project at the moment as work has taken up most of my time for the last 2 years...anyone need something which I might be interested in? Looking forward to being involved in this forum a bit more and hopefully buying some of the basses that keep giving me GAS in the marketplace..... Cheers for now!
