neilb Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Have you ever found that your playing your 2nd bass more than your primary weapon of choice? I did..... its only a MIM P bass with Badass and US pups, but it weighs in nicely and plays great. Quote
Rayman Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Yeah, that's a sexy looking bass mate, I'd be happy with that as my gigging bass too. Quote
mcgraham Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Yup! Bought a great middle-high end Ken Smith Burner bass, but after 6 months I ended up playing my old bass again for a couple of gigs, and it slowly became my main bass (again). Then sold the KS on. I enjoyed the playability of that bass, but the sound was just lacking in a band situation. Mark Quote
OutToPlayJazz Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Is that one of the new MIM's with mods, or lots of bits compiled into one great bass? Quote
neilb Posted October 2, 2009 Author Posted October 2, 2009 Hi OTPJ Yes, its one of the new 2009 MIM Standard Ps with minor mods Quote
phsycoandy Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Yup, got a Sadowsky RV4 and the GB sits in its case! anyone with £1600 can have her I think! Quote

I've heard nothing but good reports about the new MIM's with the maple boards. Now with a red tort guard it'd look the 'whole dog'! Rich. Quote
OutToPlayJazz Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Or perhaps I meant brown tort? Like mine... Quote
7string Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Sometimes you just find a bass that's "right" Quote
