waynepunkdude Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 (edited) I bought some Black Label strings and the 'D' was dud, I sent Warwick an email last Wednesday and I haven't had a response. Am I wrong in thinking this is poor? Edited October 1, 2009 by waynepunkdude Quote
xilddx Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 They're normally excellent, but they are busy too, you will get a response I'm sure. Quote
xilddx Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Where did you buy the strings Wayne? Whoever it is that's where you need to return them, but letting W know is a good idea anyway. Quote
lemmywinks Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Maybe they know about your dislike of Warwick basses? Quote
tischbein Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 British humour, I suppose... Wayne, go to the warwick forum and complain there, that way thousands will read it, at least. Customer care is poor all along. Quote

Obviously if you got them direct from Warwick then that's a different matter... I'm not defending their lack of response by the way Quote
Toddy Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 I agree to complain etc,,,, but surely Warwick dont wind their own strings anyway,,, do they??? Quote
waynepunkdude Posted October 1, 2009 Author Posted October 1, 2009 I bought them from a friend and I'm not going to take them back to him as it's not is problem and I'm not going to join the Warwick forums as people might start thinking I like Warwicks I guess I'll just have to wait, FWIW I thought Steve's joke was funny. Toasted Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Why not call them? See: My previous discussion on telephone allergies. Quote
Protium Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Not as bad as Orange (amps) though I did at least get a response Quote

Merton Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 (edited) Jase over on Finnbass is a new Warwick employee, South East Sales Rep or something; maybe try him? IIRC GHS make Warwick's strings btw, but might be wrong! Edited October 1, 2009 by Merton Quote
