beerdragon Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 (edited) I never bothered putting these on ebay. so i'll try again. i bought a Pbass off Clarky and these were on the bass. he decently provided the originals in the sale and i prefer the sound of those. these Pups are £75 new, so say £55 plus a couple of pounds postage. from the Wizard site, http://www.wizardpickups.co.uk/shop.asp?category=Bass Edited October 11, 2009 by beerdragon
Clarky Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 These are like SD Quarter Pounders, only better! Big and booming but with a more organic woody tone. Highly recommended

beerdragon Posted October 2, 2009 Author Posted October 2, 2009 Anyone want to make me an offer. sensible of course.
tonyf Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 BUMPITY BUMP! Brought one of the prototypes Area 51s from Andy at Wizard for my 62 reissue precision as I wanted something very traditional looking but modern punchy and crunchy sounding. He even 'roughed it up' for me so it'd match the reissue vibe of the Precision. Fabulous sounding pickup, loads of output but looks the part and is really flexible. Trad P sounds with the tone rolled off and the volume backed off a tad but has the "SD QuarterPounder with another QuarterPounder, three layers of full fat cheese and a slice of lard"!
