project_c Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Someone has offered me one of these for a silly price, so I've been trying to do some research on this combo and have found nothing apart from a few pics. It's 350w apparently, with a 15" speaker (maybe). From the 'good old' pre-gibson Trace days, as far as I can tell. Looks a bit like a washing machine from hell. Anyone here remember them? Are they any good? Are they worth lugging around? Is the weight ridiculous? How do they compare to other 15" combos? [attachment=33868:trace.jpg] Quote

Mr.T Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 I have not owned this particular model of Trace combo, but have had the GP11 and GP12 combo's before going over to an amp and cabs set-up. I would guess the sound is typical 'Trace', which you might love or not.... I did! £100 sounds a great price if the amp is in good condition. Buy it and try it for yourself.... I doubt you'd lose any money on it, should you not like it. Quote
