Ray Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 (edited) Hey everyone! My band is going to be on the soundtrack of a Welsh comedy called A Bit Of Tom Jones starring Eve Myles from Torchwood! A mellow tune called Blue Sunday can be heard in this trailor. It's the second tune with the double bass intro (that was the first time I ever played a double bass!). I think we have two or three tunes on it altogether. We're pretty chuffed about it! It looks like a pretty good film too. Edited January 26, 2010 by Ray Quote
xilddx Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 (edited) Congratulations mate! That's fantastic! What a buzz Looks really good too, will it be on terrestrial TV? I remember the shock, and the buzz, I got when watching Long Way Round with Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman and one of my band's numbers was played on the soundtrack. Wonder if any album sales were generated from that, somehow, I doubt it, but you never know! Edited October 1, 2009 by silddx Quote
Clarky Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Blimey, that is wicked! You must be chuffed as a chuffed thing. Nice one. PS, was playing the clip on my laptop and my wife and daughter heard the dialogue and accused me of watching a porno! Quote
Stingray5 Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Mmmmm -- Eve Myles! :brow: Nice one getting your song placed. The show looks like it could be one to watch. Quote
WHUFC BASS Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 (edited) Nice one mate. The engineer who is going our album at the moment recorded the music for the band who did the music for this ad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpYxlc0kUiY Believe it or not, this was recorded live at a gig. Ray Posted January 26, 2010 Author Posted January 26, 2010 So... I went to the Leicester Square premiere of A Bit Of Tom Jones last night. It was a great feeling being in a cinema watching a film and hearing yourself on the soundtrack. It was weird seeing my name in the end credits though!!! It's not a bad film at all. In fact it's very funny. I was laughing out loud in places. I'd definitely recommend it. My wife came home from work telling me about this film about Tom Jones c*ck. Apparently the film is going to be massive. I don't know whether Tom's c*ck is though? Quote
