Hofner1
Hi all Can't believe I have only just found this amazing site. Am a cack hander ...tried in my formative years to play properly, but just couldn't get the fingers to work on the left hand. Been playing pro for 30 years but last two have been playing guitar. Just rediscovered the joys of bass and am building up the finger pads again Bass gear I currently own is: 64 Hofner 500/1 96 Hofner 5000/1 61 Hofner Cavern reissue 2002 Jazz (CIJ) Dean Edge All left hand And my 1st bass (which I still have) 63 Futurama (right handed) Rig: H&K 200 combo Many other basses have come & gone over the years but that's another story Am looking forwards to regularly poring over this site and hearing all your stories. Cheers Dean

Bought a few years ago in really poor condition. Lovingly restored by my mate John Diggins when he could fit it in between other jobs. Absolute stunner now, but don't use the Hofners much to be honest unless the gig calls for them..mainly use the Dean and the Fender
