waynepunkdude Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 (edited) It's 6000 Australian dollars so about £3000. Edited October 5, 2009 by waynepunkdude Quote
henry norton Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 I'm sure there's some tool out there somewhere who'll pay up. My 300 quid amp recently came up on Ebay US for 2500 US Dollars (1800 quid or so?), and if someone offered me that for it I'd take the money and run Quote
Sibob Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 It will sell for as much as someone wants to pay for it. Please mind your language in future Si Quote

As far as I'm concerned you had little grounds the insult the seller as you don't know what the item he is selling is worth. Quote
Sibob Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Cool That's the end of it Is this a legit thread about vintage Orange amps?? I hope so! Go to it Si Quote

henry norton Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 During the dark ages (well, the mid 1980's), when I started playing, Orange were generally regarded as something you bought if you couldn't afford a second hand Marshall. How times have changed eh???? Quote
wateroftyne Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Calm down, dear. It's only an Ebay listing. Quote

A guitarist I used to play in a band with picked up a great condition OR100 and matching 4x12 for £180. And that was from Denmark St. A year later he picked up a 2x12 combo version for £150 from the same place. Mind you, you could pick up AC30s with blue speakers for under £75 around that time as well. Mr. Foxen Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 I'm going to get this tomorrow hopefully. Probably better for my purposes. Beans on toast diet beckons. Quote

Musicman20 Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 I dont know much about the old Orange amps...but no doubt its worth a fair bit. Much more boutique and collectable. Marhsall is just everyday and 'meh'. Quote
bigthumb Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Is there any Australians here who would say that this is a good price or not? I for one think its a bit OTT. Lets see if it sells or not. Quote
