sadowsky preamp/DI BOX

Any experience with Sadowsky outboard preamp/DI box,especially with Fender basses?How it works?Thank you

I'm using a Sadowsky DI box with a 1975 Jazz. It's fantastic. Bass can be a little overpowering, so I use the bass & treble in moderation. They are boost only. Really brings the jazz alive. Solidly built, although I've had to tape the power supply in, it falls out too easily. Nice bit of kit, recommended. I don't use it with my warwicks though.

I would definately recommend it. Pricey though. I got one off here just a few weeks ago - sorry to rub it in! If I ever sell (don't see why I would, it's replaced my Sansamp) then I'll let you know.

you've probably already got one but in case you haven't I bought mine direct from Sadowsy's online shop paid using VISA in dollars received it ahead of estimated delivery date by Fed EX who then send a bill for excess custom duty.

Very efficient service from Sadowsky - total cost given the exchange rate: £143 (incl VISA comm charge) plus £18 duty. Total £162 plus change.

UK prices from authorised dealers around £225 (this may include the power adaptor) which I didn't bother getting. Sadowsky included a battery :)

Hope that helps anyone thinking of getting one of these.

As said previously it only boosts the signal, but man does it do it nicely!
I use one of these pedals/DI with a USA P bass and a USA PJ bass and it makes them sound awesome.
