henry norton Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Here's some rare footage of one of my fave bands. Young Gods Not a bass in sight but I'm curious about the amp Alain Monod's keyboard/sampler is going through. It looks a bit like an 80's SVT but I can't be sure. If so it's an interesting scenario of ultra hi-tech digital going into 60's valve power. Quote
acidbass Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Hmm, I'm not sure - it looks like an SVt (perhaps even older tha 80's - 70's maybe?) but I can't find a pic of a similar Ampeg SVT anywhere to say that it's definitely the same. The casing it's in would suggest that it could be a valve amplifier either way, so it could well be a mixture of hi-tech digital with brute force analog power! Quote

henry norton Posted October 8, 2009 Author Posted October 8, 2009 Beauty!!! There's not much doubt there. Thanks for the replies. Presumably it livens up their guitar samples. Quote
