If it works for you then great but I don't think they're the answer to every maiden's prayer :)

Back on track, I'd want a new looking one for that too.

You are right, at least it's not overly reliced and just looks like a very well cared for old Fender. I'd have to travel to try it out before committing that sort of money I think. Not that I'm interested but it does look nice.

If I wanted an older style Jazz I think I'd check out the American Vintage 75 re-issues based on my P experience.

Sexy CS Jazz that!

Anyone gonna go try it?
Slightly OT, but mentioned.....There's a really nice Nash at the Gallery at the mo, Heavily relic'd natural, 60's style with a Fender decal....£1250 I believe! Plays and sounds great :)

Let's say Herbie might recognise an old friend ...[/quote]

Know of any photos?

Yeah that's from a feature on it on Curtis Novak's site. Fascinating.

I can't remember what's on the headstock on the one John did, sorry.. it was just a glimpse :)
He thinks the customer may be a BC member so pics may show up in porn some time.

Really sorry, I accidently edited your post haha. I went to reply, clicked on wrong button and edited your post thinking it was my reply. That's why it looks a bit different, couldn't remember what you had included/quoted etc. My bad! :)

Shuker's build sounds very 'food-for-thoughty'

With Global Power comes great responsibility :) No worries.
Yeah I think he is thinking of adding a classic jazz like this to the JJB "Jon's pension" line of classics that will just keep selling...
