Jakobus22
Hi, Yesterday I received a GT6-B from Markff, thanks for that. Ofcourse, I'm still kinda figuring this thing out. For now I have a question about the synth tracking: obviously it's not the best there is. I've had this problem before on my ME-50B. Is there anything I can do about it to make it better, for example lower the volume on my bass, or decreasing the sensitivity parameter? I sure hope so, because when Boss is advertising these units while saying that it has got 'BOSS' best synth bass sounds with incredible tracking', maybe I'm doing something wrong. Jakobus22
no owners out there who know how to deal with this? Edited October 10, 2009 by Jakobus22
King Tut
I've tried many multi fx and found tracking to be a problem on both Boss and Line Six stuff. Korg and Zoom units seem to track much better - I'm loving my Zoom B9.1u at the moment!
Jean-Luc Pickguard
The synth tracks well on my GT6B with my mustang - not that I ever use it in anger though. Are you using a 2 pickup bass. If so try using the neck pickup only & roll off the treble
TheDave
I have one and I never bother with it, I might ebay it and stick with my pedalboard.. I arnt patiant enough to work out how to write patches to the foot switches.. and having the f**k about pressing 20 buttons to set the levels every time I gig. I should have got the ME-50B, they look easier to use.
Asdfgh
What's the quality of the synth section like (other than tracking)? Can it do 'meaty' sounds or are they 'out-there' effects you couldn't really use to hold down the bottom end of a song with?
Pete Academy
Apart from the Akai Deep Impact, I've never found a synth that tracks properly. Hopefully the Markbass one has addressed this. Tne overall worst has got to be the Line 6 modelling bass guitar. Appalling!
