funkle Posted October 11, 2009 Share Posted October 11, 2009 (edited) Hi all. Got a set of the fantastic Bill Lawrence J45 Noise-Free 'AirGap' Jazz Bass pickups. Quite a mouthful! Even-sounding, hum-free jazz pickups from the inventor of the SCN pickup. You want a set of these in this day and age, you have to [i]phone[/i] Bill and get him to wind you a set! Doesn't seem to respond to emails too well. Had these in a previous project bass which has since moved on. Don't have a use for them at the moment, so may as well move these on to someone who can use them... Fits all standard 4-string Jazz bass routings (i.e. shorter neck pickup and longer bridge pickup), and because of the design and pickup pole spacing, will also work on 5-strings. Radiused poles. Photos will follow. Just over 6 inches of wire left on each pickup, fine for an install. Brand new, when I last checked, they're $120 USD + shipping/import/VAT/etc. I'd be delighted to sell on for [b]£65 + shipping[/b].
