Tis the true path :)

If you don't use tone controls why not have just Vol and blend?

Nice :)
I'm really intrigued with trying a passive again, was never that impressed, but I've never really messed with a quality passive bass.
Maybe something for the future...

I quite like my Sandberg in passive mode, so it should be good, will finally put the deposit down tonight too!

Updated it with what should be the final spec, just got to decide on whether to get something on the 12th block inlay or not.

Body was started on Saturday, so that is cool, obviously a long long way to go still though.

Jeez, that was quick. Have you come to some agreement with constant biscuit supplies or something?

He get's a jaffa cake when it's made.

I assume he's probably just doing a bunch of them, so might as well do this one at the same time.

An inlay of a jaffa cake in the 12th fret would be awesome, or an orange, but think that might be too intricate!

A Jaffa Cake is a cake, not a biscuit :)

It's really nice, dinky, comfy and still balanced, worth thinking about...

Yup - which is lucky because you wouldn't want your bass to go soft :)

I personally think there is something quite awesome about a maple headstock on a maple neck with a maple fb.

It's getting one, it's in the spec on the first page!

I'm not sure what you mean? Do you mean why wouldn't people get a matched headstock? I guess some people prefer it natural.
