acidbass
LINK Great news - fantastic pickups by all accounts. I've been recently pricing a custom Stingray project build and think I might go for one of their famed MM humbuckers a la Flea. Any opinions on said pickup/the company in general? henry norton
I've heard allot of good things about Lane Poor pickups. Apparently the man himself went awol a few years ago never to be seen since. It looks like a bit of a WAL thing going on with the new pickups being made by someone else who was affiliated with him. Let's hope they got the 'magic' they put in the originals. I'd like to try them just to see if they're as good as people said they were. henry norton
Maybe I'll wait for the rave reviews of the new versions before I flex my plastic. I take it they were quite expensive.
Owen
I had some J ones in a bass. I expected............ well I don't know what I expected, they just sounded like a good pick up. I had worked myself into a frenzy of believing that my tone was about to take a quantum leap forward. It did not. I then learnt to trust my ears and not my eyes.
