Hi all

Just picked up an acoustic bass from Steve today- given to me at no cost !

Steve even came to meet me at a place close to his house to guide me in through the back doubles during his own lunchtime.

Then spent some time at his house discussing all things bass and looking at his toys, which I wouldn't mind having myself I must say. Some very nice basses and one or two that I wish he would have gave me as well ( !!!!! )

Offered a cup of tea too. I could have spent ages there as Steve is really easy to talk with and I really enjoyed the whole thing.

Can't see how Steve could have done any more really. Top man

Spent the day discussing things bass with Steve while collecting an EBS Microbass II.

Played Steve's Sei 5 and realised how nice a bass it was after only half a dozen notes - superb ! In Steve's hands though, it sings in ways I can only look on and wonder. Steve's playing also inspired me to go home and practice, in a good way. A really positive day all round.
