pete.young
Just wondered if anyone is gigging in Cardiff on Thursday night this week (15th October). I'm staying over for work and likely to be at a loose end.
RhysP
Where in Cardiff are you staying? The Zombies (Rod Argent & Colin Blunstone) are playing in the Globe in Roath that evening. It's only a short bus ride from the centre.

OldGit
There's two jam sessions I know of, one a half brick's throw from the Globe at the Claude on Albany Road, the other at the Canadian in Splott. Might get to the latter one later on. You'd get a go at the Canadian, probably not at The Claude...

Pbassman
Don't knock the Claude - my band went there in August (more opportunity as the students have gone home) and we played 3 songs and were well received by the regular players as well as the punters. They have a good PA and ams for 2 guitars and bass. With the future of the Globe in the air we can't knock any venue. Cheers Phil

That's not really a jam session or open mic.. Mind you it means more interesting stuff gets played Circumstances have changed and I'll be gracing the Canadian with my presence tonight. If you go give me a nod ..
