fretmeister Posted October 15, 2009 Share Posted October 15, 2009 In the excellent book "American Basses" there is a weird thing built for Victor Wooten It is 4 string at the head, then the fretboard steps out for 5 and 6 strings as you get closer to the body - the extra strings tuning from the bridge.
