Very good value for the money. I've got one that i added an MEC active circuit and it's great for rock/metal. If you can get on with a slim jazz type neck, it'll be well worth it. Mine's a few years old now, and the polyester finish has handled the dings well.

You wont believe how good is its tone. Those MEC pickups have a retail price of 179€ EACH! Mine is a 5 strings righthanded model and it is not only my personal favourite, but also prefered by a very famous studio engineer friend of mine and several bassists I have met in the road. Mind you, we bought one of those as soon as they were released into the market, like 8 years ago, so no clue if the quality control has suffered through the years.

Really hard to believe that such a cheap bass sounds so good, but I believe in miracles since I got one.

Looks like they are clearing up their inventory for the new range. The new Rockbass are pretty sweet. Warwick two piece bridge, and no cheesy headstock.
