buff Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 Just a feeler at the minute, thinking of shifting the maple neck of the prose bass i bought. No idea on the make of neck but its straight and the frets are good, at present it has a white headstock with a fender logo. But could easily by rubbed back to the laquer. Comes with machine heads, looking for £60 plus postage
KennysFord Posted October 16, 2009 Posted October 16, 2009 I played this bass just after it was finished and I was really impressed with neck.If i had a body and needed a neck I'd be onto this in a flash. Well worth the asking price I reckon.
richrips Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 That looks lovely. how thick is the neck at the heel? i just fitted a neck to my jazz and although snug, there is a bit more height than i want plus it's rosewood and i'd rather maple. oh and are tuners included? cheers, rich
