Marvin
Decided to get a little jazzy funky, so dug out the Brother Sister album by the Brand New Heavies. Specifically the first track HAVE A GOOD TIME. I've got most of it nailed, apart from the little impro bit where the sax does the solo. I know the whole song revolves around Ab and Db (or the enharmonic equivalants) but my theory is very basic so I'm struggling to identify what key it is in and the relevant scales for the chords. Sorry if this isn't very clear, but can anyone provide some guidance.

Presumably this will be of interest to you?: http://www.basslinepublishing.com/brand-ne...her-sister.html Will be released in a few weeks time. The revamped website looks really good. Very easy to use, I like it. Edited October 16, 2009 by RichB
