Bass tutor in the North East

Can anyone recommend me one? Preferably in the Durham area but I am prepared to travel, decided enough is enough I've finaly bought a nice shiny new bass I just need to learn how to play it now.

Any recommendations? I'll travel to Newcastle if anyone knows a good one up there, really want to get my technique sorted cos at the moment I can't play for sh*t.

Near Peterlee, had one lesson but wasn't that struck that was through Durham City.
