Clarky
In the early 80s I went through a bit of a jazzer phase and avidly bought a number of albums on the ECM label. One of them really stands the test of time: "To be Continued" by Terje Rypdal, Miroslav Vitous and Jack deJohnette, an innovative Norwegian electric guitarist with a stunning back line. The standout track for me is the hard to say "Topplue Votter and Skjerf", a truly beautiful, haunting track (which makes me think of fjords and misty mornings, but thats just me!). But what really makes it is the double bass playing by Miroslav Vitous, which I think has to be my favourite ever piece of DB playing. Here is a link to a free (slightly lower quality than MP3) version. Just click on "Prelisten Track" http://ligamusic.com/Lyrics/2943917/Terje_...f/download-mp3/ Hope you enjoy it as much as I do! BTW, if you do like it, the album is on iTunes at £5.53 for download Edited October 18, 2009 by Clarky
