craigjf1969 Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Hi folks,i have an ashdown abm 300 evo2 head, which puts out 325watts rms and i understand that if i connect two cabs i can go down to 4ohms,and i also believe that the output of the amp will be equally split into each cab(halved)...but when the impedance is reduced isnt it true that the power of the amp will increase and if so what will my amps output then be????? ZPQ Posted September 30, 2007 Posted September 30, 2007 Often manufacturers give the power output at 4ohms, a little misleading if you're only going to use 1 cab. As far as I can tell this is the case - so with 2 cabs you will get the rated 325watts. Cheers John Quote
