CHRISDABASS
Hey After years of using 4x10's (usually just one at a time) im starting to be tempted by a couple of DB112's Especially in that new white finish!! wow!! so can anyone tell me how they compare to using a 4x10?? anyone ever had trouble with volume? i'll be using my Aguilar AG500SC with them if that helps Cheers Chris
GreeneKing
This really is a subject where a search will produce lots of recent comment. I'm surprised you haven't read it Chris. Yes, that are very good. chris_b
I had 2 GS112's and they were great. The DB's are supposed to be as good but better mid tones. They don't have the punch of 10's, I sold mine to get my Epifani 410, but if that isn't a problem I reckon you'll love them.

Musicman20
+ 1 DB cabs are great...the 12 cabs are definitely my favourite though.
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
I'm using the AG 500 SC with one DB and it's great. (Haven't gigged with this setup yet,but puts a loud drummer/2 guitarists in their place,)
JTUK
Just saying that a GS12 on its own ISN'T enough for me in a band context.. so I'll try two. But my feeling from using just the one cab is that a 12 has its own sound and you need to know whether the horn is a good match for the freq bias of the cab. The 12 doesn't wallow as much as a 15 can, but neither is it punchy as a 10.. Also, the sensitivity needs to be taken into account when running one against two..as with my amp, this was quite apparent I must admit I haven't worked the EQ much but 1x12 would be for quiet situations only, IMV, jazz gigs without a full blow drummer.. Since I gather the DB and GS only differ with the mid scoop, then some of these issues/thoughts may cross-over to DB cabs..
CHRISDABASS
While i was very tempted to try the DB112's i ended up trading my DB410 for a DB210 plus cash so i'll see how that goes! Im hoping i wont need a second 2x10
