Hi
I have put together a small bash taking place in Moffat on the weekend 31st/1st Oct/Nov.

Limited places available with B&B sorted out at £30.00 for the Saturday night. Also going out for a curry on the Saturday night everyone will be paying the same. Bash in the local theatre on the Sunday.

I have 6 places left if anyone is interested.

Cheers
Alan

I'd just like to 'pipe up' and say what a great venue this is. The Hall is perfect. Having a bash that is centred around a social gathering i.e. a pint or three and a curry also is a sound way of doing things.

Not enough for your guts Al.....

It also has a gear page saying whats coming up...some of its has changed Eh Peter...need to update yours...
Having said that mine has just changed as well.....

Its a top laugh, nice to go for a few scoops the night before and makes the next day a little more relaxed than the usual meet ups

Having never been to a Basschatters get together, I'd really love to go this, unfortunately Halloween isn't a good time to try and get time off work for me. Never mind, maybe another time

Would I be allowed just to turn up on the Sunday? The web page makes the curry and drinking sound obligatory.

As long as I don't have to play anything because I'm only a covers band player :) I would be happy to bring anything that seems interesting to anyone (see sig).

Yes...you need to eat a curry before you can come down, its obligatory.....

I know Alan would be happy for annybody to come on down on the Sunday...just dont expect it to be a gas free room...... :)

We did the stay over things last year and it made the whole thing spot on, very relaxed and a great laugh, and you just get to know each other over the course of a few beers....

Last year Alan originally had lots of guys say they would come down, who just didnt show, and made the do a bit of a letdown on numbers, but we had such a good crack he wanted to do it agian....

I was one of them. I did mean to come but my evil wife made me go on holiday with her on the same day. I might bring her along to be excruciatingly bored. Ha ha.

Better yet, come down the night before and stay at the B&B...we are pretty much all more on the mature age side than 21.....It was genuinly a great laugh last year.

That reminds me. Gear page update - the Starfire is a definite - the repair as documented here has indeed held. Also bringing a Traben Chaos Attack 4.

And yes BCers, be you local or road trippin' - come down/up to Moffat for laughs, basses, beers and curry!

LOL @ the pic of me trying to see off the hangover with a Redbull. :)

Change of plan - instead of taking the wee Schroe I thought it might be fun to bring my MB 104HF. Matt you'll be sitting on the roof.

Is there a band again this time?
