Hmmmmm, alternate power amp, (thanks reccession ¬¬)

Hey Guys,

I was looking at a Crown XLS 802D, and they seem like really good units(any one else used these?), but £430 is too much for me to spend, as i'm currently paying off my Attitude bass and i'm currently buying an Ampeg 410E cab from ashevens09

I need a power amp that is 500W at 4ohms per channel

i was looking at the Peavey CS 1400 thats £350, thats still a bit high but if i had to i'd go for that, any one else used one?

or the Peavey PV 1500 which seems identical to the CS 1400 but cheaper? =S

Do you think you think i should go for the Peavey CS 1400, save up for the Crown XLS 802D (any one used one? what do you think?)

or, does any one else have any suggestion

QSC power amp, 450W a side at 4ohms. £cheap.

Have a look at Bass Direct - Mark is selling a s/h peavey amp for £100.

Use something like that until you can afford a Crown or QSC amp.
