pbass67
Posting this up for a mate Status bass with a few issues but still very nice to play. See the photos for info as I'm not even sure what model this is. Comes with a Hiscox Status logo'ed case. Issues are battery compartment is faulty and needs replacing and the nut has been raised using a splint of wood (see pics). I believe it has a graphite reinforced neck and has Status Graphite on the headstock. Fair share of wear and small dints but I'm sure that a setup and fresh set of strings would make this bass an absolute winner for what he's asking. Offers around £300 Please direct questions straight to him at : Any further info from those that know about these basses would be interesting. Dr.Dave
That's looking like an Energy to me. The issues are f**k all by the sounds of it . It doesn't need tlc it needs a quick tweak and taking out and playing and I hope one of us does exactly that.
OutToPlayJazz
Yes, definitely an energy. Parts wouldn't be a huge amount. Sounds like a simple enough job for someone.
philw
Considering the Energy, like most Status basses, has a zero fret, that's a very odd thing to do to the nut. Looks to me, all that needs doing is the piece of wood removing. Phil

pbass67
Thanks for that chaps. gave me a good giggle fit for a moment. About the toothpick and zero fret thing, don't really get it meself but I guess he had some reason. Ask him by email (1st post) if you are genuinely interested in buying it and want to know more. Or think of it as Status bass for sale + free toothpick Useful perhaps, If you haven't got the energy to brush your teeth coat.
