Everything else, electronics, set up etc was expertly put together by Martin Peterson (SEI bass builder) at the bass gallery in London. This bass is nearly 2 years old but is as new, it has a beautiful natural tone and with the benefit of a John East U-Retro EQ fitted it has endless tone possibilties. It has a very low fast action and is a pleasure to play. It has a very small manufacturing fault in the triple stripe in one spot only, i have included a close up photo. Lack of work and a looming vacation force me to sell this bass, i did think i was going to keep it forever, but when needs must and all that. Thought i would try to sell it on here for a week or so before i go to Evilbay. Buyer collects or meet up somewhere, i live in Forest Hill, south London. Offers above £1100.00 SPEC 6 string 34" scale 23 frets 17mm string spacing at bridge Dual truss rod Body materials- Mahogany, book matched Imbuya Burr front and back with Maple, rosewood triple stripe front and back. Through Neck matarials- Rosewood x3, maple x2, Mahogany x2 Rosewood fretboard. Pic ups - Neck EMG 45P, Bridge EMG 45J Electronics- John East U-RETRO (see website for full details) - http://www.east-uk.com/ Hard case included. I bought 2 basses on ebay from him - Warwick corvette copy, Warwick dolphin copy. I custom ordered this body direct from him. Kiwi
Oh ok, I wonder what happened to him? He was really cheap too, I nearly bought a jazz bass body off him but thought better of it because I couldn't tell whether those exotic woods would sound OK. Chris2112
That looks stunning, but the holes on the headstock for truss rod access look a bit hokey for my tastes. Lovely bit of wood though, and it looks like it'll have a bit of tonal variety in there!

I can assure you that this bass and the other 2 that i have from him have been built to high standards. I would ask you to produce any evidence that you have of your (rip off/ shoddy) statement. Guest
I guess people can make up their own mind, whether he was kicked off ebay as he got reported so many times by buyers, or because he moved to America. I had a body built by him! I spoke to others who bought from him too, a few messaged me after I left negative feedback. Either way though, doesn't effect you selling this bass, since if Sei actually put it together it should be okay. Lovely wood, frets all over the place so it's awaiting further ministrations (frets are already out, neck needs some shaping, and I have plans for what to do about the fretboard).
