attackbass Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 (edited) I'm thinking of selling my Lakland Skyline Bob Glaub in Sunburst with mint pickguard. It's in excellent condition and has upgraded ernie ball straplocks. The reason I'm thinking of selling is due to it never gets played enough really. It's only played about 4 or 5 gigs and for the rest of the time sits on the guitar rack as a backup to my jazz. I also find it a bit too mellow compared to my jazz - it sounds great and would be great for other kinds of music, but at the moments i'm mainly playing rock and i have several other basses that can do mellow. I do quite like it and the finish and wood grain on it is amazing so im hesitant in selling it, so I guess i'm trying to see if there would be any interest in it. I'd be looking for about £600 for it.I've seen them new for about 899. If there's any interest i'll post some photos up! Edited October 29, 2009 by attackbass

markorbit Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Rosewood or Maple? Does it have the Fralins in it? Or the newer Lakland pickups... both good I hear.
attackbass Posted October 24, 2009 Author Posted October 24, 2009 Ok as promised here are some photo of the Glaub. Obviously it's a rosewood neck, tried to get as detailed photos as possible. I can also post some sound clips of the bass too. I will weigh the bass and get back with weights as soon as.
warwickhunt Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 I've always liked the Lakland Sunburst finish, far better than the 'burst produced by some manufacturers.
attackbass Posted October 24, 2009 Author Posted October 24, 2009 The pickups are lakland pickups as far as i know - bought the bass early this year.
