Dom in Dorset
I'm probably being no help at all when say say that it has to be pre-1984 if that pic is from the film. I don't recognise to two guys right at the back so it might not be. He's been playing Lakland for a long time now. Saw Tap at Glastonbury, life has been downhill since then. [/quote] Did you know he had a mockingbird that was played by Phil Lynott (but not owned by him)? All the BC Riches were from some collection I think, saw it in the credits then forgot. leschirons
Sorry, thought I'd get involved. Below is the answer from BC Rich about 20 minutes ago. Hi Keith, That was a Handcrafted Mockingbird Standard - gloss black in the pic you attached. I'm not sure of the year. He also used a white Handcrafted Eagle Standard in the movie with reflective tape applied to the body. Not sure of the year on that one either but I did see it for sale by him on Ebay a few years ago . TK So, I imagine if they don't know all the facts, you're on a loser to get all the info. Check the rear-end octave tuners! I hada Washboard Explorer 8-string that was strung that way back in the '80s and the octave G popped when tuning up! sh*t design! Stacker
Talking about things Tap, I spotted a book the other week that catalogued Led Zep in pix over the decades and there was footage of them with a FULL SIZE 'Henge for their truss! Never knew that! Edited October 21, 2009 by Stacker

Derek Smalls isn't the god that I thought he was. Oh well there's still his 5 string ,6 pickup , exploding earth Lakland.
