MythSte Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Alrate! Just picked up an '85 Jap Squier precision, and i really love it. Although whenever my finger taps the pickup (which is more or less every pluck) i get a thumping noise through my amp. Im pretty sure being as my fingers arnt metal this shouldnt happen... Any ideas? Any ideas?[/quote] if you're tapping the cover and it's making a loud noise then it might have become microphonic, which can be repaired by having it re-potted Quote
